The Westville Hotel is able to assist with the following catering requirements for your conference:
- Tea and Coffee at R10.00 per person
- Tea, Coffee, and Juice R18.00 per person
- Tea, Coffee and Biscuits at R15.00 per person
- Tea, Coffee and Muffins or Pastries as per your selection at R20.00 per person
- Conference Lunch at R100.00 – R 155.00 per person depending on a clients requirements.
Décor and Entertainment – not included. Please advise should you require any assistance, as we could refer you to people that you can contact. Please note that these people are in no way affiliated to the hotel or conference centre, and are merely suggestions which you under no obligation to use.
Deposit policy: a 50 % deposit is required to confirm the booking. The final account must be settled 7 days prior to the groups arrival, with all extras to be settled on the day.
Cancellation clause: Should your confirmed booking be cancelled between 30 and 60 days prior to the date of the function, a cancellation fee of 50 % will be levied. In the unlikely event of the confirmed booking being cancelled less than 30 days prior to the date of the function, the hotel reserves the right to levy a cancellation fee equivalent to the value of the function.
FINAL NUMBERS Final numbers are required 48 hours prior to the date of the function. Should these numbers decrease by more than 10% by the date of the function, a surcharge of 50% on the total cost of the function will be levied.
Terms and Conditions
1. All bookings under this agreement shall be subject to the following terms and conditions
2. The customer shall be responsible for any damage caused to the -allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment therein, by any act or omission of the customer or guests/employees of the customer.
3. All day and evening functions must terminate by 17h00 and 24h00 respectively unless a later time is specifically agreed in writing with the hotel, at the time the booking is made.
4. The Hotel, The Hotel Management and Staff and The Owners shall not under any circumstances be responsible or liable for: ? any valuables or electronic equipment left with the Hotel for safe-keeping and/or
- any loss or damage to any valuables or electronic equipment brought by him to or left by him at the Hotel, whether such a loss or damage be as a result of fire, theft, burglary, negligence or any other cause whatsoever or any act of omission on the part of the Hotel or any of its employees, servants, agents or any other person.
- Any items stored at the hotel for safe keeping although reasonable precaution for the security thereof will be taken, will be done at the owners own risk
5. The customer may bring no food or beverage into the allocated room for consumption on the premises.
6. Please note that the above prices is current and subject to a + 10% increase.
General Information
1. All prices quoted are current and include 14% VAT.
2. The hotel will not be held responsible for any items or equipment left on the premises prior to and after a conference, function or exhibition.
Dietary requirements: Halaal & Kosher catering –The Westville Hotel is not a halaal establishment, however the meats are purchased from a halaal butchery (pork & alcohol are served on the property). The Chef will cater for dietary requirements accordingly provided advance notice is given. Should you require halaal catering done by an outside caterer, provided the numbers are limited, the cost is approximately R400.00 per person per meal provided, subject to change according to supplier.
Should you require a booking, kindly send a fax or e mail through to the details below. After provisionally booking your function, a contract is sent through to be completed and returned with a deposit of 50% of the total amount to confirm your booking within 7 days of the provisional booking, or else it will be released with no further contact from the Westville Hotel. The final account must be settled 7 days prior to the groups arrival, with all extras to be settled on the day of the function.
